This is another fine Indian-style frozen entrée from Trader Joe’s. At $3.49 it’s a little on the pricey side when compared with other frozen entrées, but not pricey when compared with going out for lunch.
Weekly Photo Challenge – Early (T) Bird – Photography
04/20/2015Today’s exercise in literary license, not one, but two, early birds and a lyrical reference.
Weekly Photo Challenge – Coke Afloat – Photography
04/13/2015Okay. So it’s really a Coke Float, not a Coke Afloat. And okay. So, this is really more like an ice cream soda than a float. But these challenges are sort of short notice. And for anyone now saying, “Huh?”, try this link.
Weekly Photo Challenge – Bird Bath Blur (5) – Photography
04/09/2015This blur also works for large dog baths. Just be sure your camera is water proof or, better yet, borrow someone else’s.
Weekly Photo Challenge – Back End Blur (4) – Photography
04/08/2015If you find the secret settings that control split shutter speed mode in your camera, making the left side of the frame fire at 1/500 sec (or faster) and the right side of the frame at 1/100 sec (or slower), you can achieve back end blur like this. Wait a minute. “Is that the same model from yesterday?” Oh. Strike out the first sentence. Never mind.
Weekly Photo Challenge – Cheap Model Blur (2) – Photography
04/07/2015This is what happens when you try to save 5 peanuts on the model agency fee. It’s the, “OMG! – What do I do now?” blur.
Trader Joe’s Goat’s Milk Gouda Cheese – Food Review
04/07/2015This is a rather nice medium soft cheese with a little bit of tang to the taste (TTTT). It’s not the same kind of tang as an aged Gouda, nor is it as difficult to cut. I’m going to assume this tang comes from the goat’s milk.
Mario Collina Prosecco – DOC – Wine Review – ALDI
04/07/2015The first surprise for this wine is the screw cap. The screw cap is most likely there as a little insurance for the extra pressure in the bottle. This is a mildly carbonated wine – bubbly. As an aside, despite everything you may have heard, there’s nothing wrong with a screw cap on a wine bottle. They’re just not as sexy as a cork.
