09/06/2010One description of a Zinfandel is, “A powerful wine known for its pepper, spice and tannins …”. Forget about the pepper, spice and other flavors attributed to any type of wine. I’ve never been able to taste them. TJ’s Coastal Zinfandel is powerful with heavy tannins.

08/22/2010Trader Joe’s President’s Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil is: Italian, cold pressed, good looking, good tasting, the right price and is surprisingly difficult to photograph. The only thing that could make it more perfect would be a picture of Sophia Loren.
