This is one product that looks better than the picture. Along with that, it tastes better than the picture.

I picked these up on a whim. $1.49 on clearance, it was something I couldn’t resist. I’m not sure when these first appeared. Perhaps it was Valentine’s Day?
This is another chocolate product imported from Germany. True to the other chocolates ALDI imports to the US, these are high quality chocolates, especially considering the price. Finely crafted and a delight to look at, even if made (or considerably helped) by machine, these look almost too good to eat. That helped me from overindulging and eating the whole box in one sitting.
There are four kinds of truffles in the box; vanilla, sea salt caramel, hazelnut and tuxedo. Each has a tasty thick creamy filling. Three of them are round with a flat bottom. One is a sphere. Three have a chocolate shell, either milk chocolate, dark chocolate or white chocolate. The spherical one has some sort of hard sugar-based shell. All have a gently flavored creamy filling. All are very good. None is overly sweet. The white sugar-based shell is sweeter than the rest.

I know. All ALDI has to do is find a little bitty shelf space and keep these all year. Even every other month would be a big win.

Reading this made me kind of nostalgic. Love ALDI! Used to go there all the time as a kid ☺

They haven’t changed much. If you ever need to feel like a kid again, and who doesn’t, stop in.
