There are 3 in the picture. One above the bull’s head behind a tree and a second female with just her head showing grazing over on the extreme right. That close and on foot – only air between me and them. Actually, this small herd (20-30) is pretty tame.

butt (freudian slip)…but elk poo…isn’t that like great stuff? right up there with turtle poo, I’d guess
