Great shot and title. I’m not sure about Whistler’s mother but I can sure picture MY mother sitting in that chair. I think we had one or two just like it when I was growing up!.

OK here’s a weird one Steve – many years ago I saw a horror movie about a guy who killed his grandmother and at the end she was sitting in a chair EXACTLY like this one with no head – then cut to the scene where her head is rolling down the steps. It wasn’t scary it was just stupid but for some reason I remember it often. Your chair reminded me of that movie, which then made me laugh at a much younger me watching the movie in the first place LOL. How’s THAT for ambience?!
