Turtle Thursday – Blue Heron – Guest – Photography

Went looking for turtles Wednesday at the nearby lake.  My friend the blue heron offered to go along and help search.  I wonder why we didn’t find any?

    I saw an ugly blue heron statue in front of a neighbor’s yard. I thought to myself why would anybody buy such an ugly statue for their front yard?! Then It ambled across the street in front of me, stopped in front of a waist high brick wall, began weaving it’s head slowly side to side, lunged forward at lightning speed and came up with a lizard in its mouth. Now that was exciting!
