Have some crackers with your salt?
June 16, 2015
Generally I’m not a big fan of any kind of snack food with the word baked on the label. These crackers however are an exception to my rule. A healthy, or unhealthy, dose of salt on the crackers added the little extra needed to make these mostly enjoyable. I say mostly because some crackers had an extra-large dose of salt, making them too salty even for me. The nutrition label bears out this observation, listing an ounce of crackers as having 200 mg of sodium. The less salty crackers in the box were just about right.
As well as alone, these were tried with some brie (review here) spread on them. When a less salty cracker was pulled from the box, the combination worked well.
Because some of the crackers were too salty, I would not buy these again.

Have bought this brand at local Aldi’s store for several years. Preferred the taste over Triscuit brand. Recently, the last 3 boxes (bought over 3 months) have all been stale! This includes various flavors. The first cracker after opening sealed bag was stale like it was left open for weeks! Disappointing!

Laura, try speaking with the staff at your local ALDI store. The other thing you can do is let ALDI know at https://www.aldi.us/en/contact-us/
I’m just a customer like you.

I really like your reviews, even if I can´t buy the things here. 🙂

Thanks very much. It’s an easy way to find something to write about, and a good excuse for drinking wine.
