They really do come six in a package.
I just couldn’t find the camera fast enough, before I ate the first muffin. That left me with a dilemma, either take a picture with five in the package or buy a new package. I took the picture. There was no assurance I wouldn’t eat the first one out of the next package. Know what I mean?
I’ve been an English muffin fan for a long time but for some reason they don’t make it into the shopping cart very often. There are two reasons for that. The good national brands tend to be on the expensive side. The cheaper store brands tend to be on the bad side. This is a store brand that’s not only inexpensive, but also good.
My criteria for good is both good taste and good holes. The muffin has to have enough holes when split and toasted to hold plenty of butter. It also has to crisp up nicely in the toaster. I double toast split English muffins to get them extra crispy with a few spots on the edges that are actually burnt. Then I butter them with real butter. The heat from the double toasting melts the butter with the holes acting like little ponds to hold the butter in the muffin. These muffins pass the test nicely. And at 99 cents per package, they are certainly less than a good national brand.

It sounds like Aldi’s Baker has a problem. Here’s the URL to contact ALDI,. https://www.aldi.us/en/contact-us/. I’ll have to pick up a packy on my next trip to ALDI to see if the same problem exists where I live. Thanks everyone for alerting the readers to the problem.

We love this product but have been having a problem with it during the last month. Three consecutive weeks the inside dough was so undercooked that a bread knife slicing the bagel would come out with dough globed all over each side of the knife.
Is anyone else having this issue?
We passed this issue on to the Aldi cashier

I believe aldi’s English muffins are made by Thomas’. My family did a blind taste test, and could not tell them apart.
