I grew up in a town that had local parades. It still does, but sadly, it’s not as big as it used to be 40 years ago.

Thanks for the comment. This one hasn’t changed much over the years. It’s followed by local fireworks at night on the ball field. Sometimes lack of change is a good thing. 😊

That’s awesome! I’m so glad that some on our small towns haven’t changed! The small town I grew up in was once a beautiful little town. Now, it’s overrun with drugs and gangs!
Do your best to preserve it for your kids and grandkids! Small town America is changing and not for good.
