Okay. It was my fault. I should have bought the second battery for the DSLR. Time for a pinch hitter then. “You, 8 years old ‘advanced’ point and shoot 5 mp, get off the bench and knock one over the fence for me.”
Yes it was wet.
Okay. It was my fault. I should have had the camera in hand and ready when the eagle flew directly over my head about 40 feet up. Maybe he’ll fly back? Not a chance. Even birds know when it’s time to get in out of the rain.
Okay. So it’s a nice day for a walk, even if all I get is really really wet. That wasn’t all that convincing. I’ll have to remember to be more convincing the next time.
Okay. But days like this don’t come that often, so I better get out there and hope. On some days hope is all we have.
