    I can never ever leave comments at any site that uses askimet; always wondering if they are instant or awaiting moderation I think usually askimet always just instant kills everything I write. can you verify for me if my attempted comment on ur salami post got nailed. I thought it was there then I replied to it to note that I unintentionally used my typical ‘name’ but its essentially same as yours and that its not intentional and boom both of my comments dissappeared.

      All three comments made it and were approved. The Long delay on this last one was me. I must’ve missed the notification message. Sorry. Thanks for adding the comments.

        Thanks its just any site i’ve ever spent 2 hours typing a comment into that had askimet has instantly lost the comments after they appeared to post or dropped them during submit or never approved by askimet. It just seems a screwed up service. Once i’ve seen there name I try to stay away, i’ve wasted a day of typing in total on small sites and I don’t even tend to like to leave comments so its not like I go out of my way. Their service doesn’t like the way I type. They don’t even ever redflag it before sumission so that you can correct whatever it has issue with, u just type, and it dissappears and then thats time gone. I truelly dislike their existance. 😛 I told them personally once in the hopes they would fix things but they just told me to email them my comments so they could run them through a program, but its not like I have a memmory or had presaved everything they’ve tossed away 🙂 Nor an intention to keep throwing words into the abyss. Thanks though.

        Oops again. Either I never was notified of this one, Or I missed it. I wonder if it’s the About page that’s the issue with notifications. I receiver notifications for other comments around this date range. Thanks again for the comments. Stay safe.

    Belated hello from Türkiye… just wanted to say “thank you”, I appreciate your recent ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there. It’s been a while I know, but a storm knocked out our village internet and phone, hence the delay!

    Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day-to-day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also throw in a few of my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff for good measure.
