Brandy, I knew her from the old neighborhood. That’s right Brandy Beans. She and Ben, her brother, lived with their parents in the apartment building down the street on the second floor. Right above them on the 3rd floor were the Shaws. You remember Charlie, now old Charles Shaw, don’t you?
It’s been decades since then but you’ll still find Brandy living just below Charles at Trader Joe’s. Correct, find the Charles Shaw wine section at Trader Joe’s and somewhere on a bottom shelf will be these Brandy Beans.
There’s really nothing beanie about these beans. These beans are small hollow bean-shaped fine chocolates filled with a mini shot of brandy. Lock ’em up when you get home to keep the kids away. Or maybe lock up the kids? Nah, that’s not going to work they’ll find a way to break out.
Definitely, these are a conversation starter. Of course it will be a brief conversation as everyone fights for seconds and thirds. And do be careful. Don’t be dainty with these and try to bite off just a piece. The brandy inside is going to end up all over your hand inviting that gnarly person to your right to start licking your hand. That’s not an image you want passed around on Facebook.
Calories: 170 per 5 pieces Price: $2.99 per box
And a thank you to Betty for being flexible enough to find these on the bottom shelf.

It just doesn’t sound right; Brandy living on the shelf below Two Buck Chuck.

It’s not right. Especially when I have to get back up.
